NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: on Monday, November 26, 2001, at 7:00 P.M. a public hearing on the 2002 proposed budget of the Town of Sun Prairie will be held at the Sun Prairie Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s office in the Town Hall from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. The following is a summary of the proposed 2002 Budget.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
OF THE ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF SUN PRAIRIE, DANE COUNTY

Notice is hereby given of a special town meeting of the electors of the Town of Sun Prairie on Monday, November 26, 2001. This special town meeting will follow the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2002 town budget, which begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Sun Prairie Town Hall 5556 Twin Lane Road. This special town meeting of the electors is called pursuant to Sec. 60.12(1)(b) of Wis. Statutes by the town board for the following purposes:

1.To adopt the 2001 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2002 pursuant to Sec. 60.10 (1)(a) of Wis. Statutes

2.To approve the total 2002 highway expenditures pursuant to Sec. 81.01(3) of Wis. Statutes .

3. To authorize the town board to hire town officers as employees of the town and set an hourly wage pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1)(g) of Wis Statutes

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Sun Prairie will be held on Monday, November 26, 2001 following the Public Hearing for the 2002 Budget and the Town Meeting of the electorate. The Budget Hearing begins at 7:00 P.M. with the Town Electors Meeting and the Town Board meeting following. The meetings will be held at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road. The following business will be transacted at the Regular Board Meeting.

  3. Approve minutes of Previous Meeting.
  4. Presentation from the Public.
  5. Public Hearing – Consider and Take Action re: Petition #8286 by S. & M. Hartman to change the zoning from the RH-3 Rural Homes to the RH-1 Rural Home and R-1A Residential at 6060 Town Hall Drive.
    1. Consider and Take Action re: CSM for Hartman.
  6. Consider any Amendments and Adopt 2002 Town Budget.
  7. Consider and Take Action re: Petition #8283 as amended by the county.
  8. Audit and Pay Bills
  9. Old Business/New Business.
  10. Correspondence.
  11. Set Next Meeting Date/Adjournment.
