Consider and Take Action re: Advisory Report on Town Review and Comment on Farm Plan submitted by R. Koch. Doug Yelk, town board supervisor, a member of the Town’s Plan Commission reported that the Plan Commission reviewed the Koch Farm Plan. The plan commission report indicated that they reviewed the farm plan for consistency with the Town’s Land Use Plan for residential development. The plan commission recommends to the Town Board that said plan is inconsistent with the Town’s Land Use Plan for the following reasons. 1) The proposed area is in the Town’s Mineral Protection/Extraction Area that is not approved for residential development. 2) The Plan Commission believes it is the intent of the applicant to build a home on farmland and not to run a viable farm operation. Moved by Doug Yelk that the Town Board make recommendation to the County that the Town is opposed to the application based on the two recommendations (above) of the Plan Commission. Second by Vernon Pogue

In order to change any of the road connection between LaRue Lane and LaRue Fields Lane, the plan would need to be amended. An item will be added to the next agenda. Huston was told to proceed with correcting the findings detailed in the engineer report. He should then proceed with the final layer of asphalt. Huston indicated that he would have his engineer look into the feasibility of bringing his road out to CTH TT.
