Call to Order. Chairperson L Updike called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road.  Supervisors V Pogue and D Yelk, Clerk J Ramsfield, Treasurer C Yelk, and Patrolman B Dodge were present.

Statement of Public Notice. The chair directed that the minutes show notice of the meeting was posted on the three town bulletin boards on Oct 18, 2011.

Pledge of Allegiance:  J Ramsfield led the pledge.

Presentation from the Public:  None

Audit/Pay Bills. The Board reviewed the invoices and authorized the clerk to pay bills.  Moved by V Pogue, second by D Yelk to pay the bills as presented.

Discussion: Ordinance 93-1 Building Permits, Building Code, Uniform Dwelling Code, Electrical Code, Plumbing Code and Standards for Property Maintenance.  (amended 2/20/2004 Moving Buildings) Ordinance Regarding Re: Building Code for accessory building (pole bldg).  The board members briefly discussed new construction of pole buildings standards.  Pole buildings constructed for agriculture use are occasionally converted to commercial use. Consensus is to have the Plan Commission require a site review for existing building undergoing zoning changes to convert use to commercial/business use.

Old Business re:

  • Drain Tile – D Yelk – New inlets have been installed, and repairs to existing inlets have been made on the drain tile near Savannah Valley.

Set Next Meeting Date/Adjournment – Budget Public Hearing, Electors Meeting and Regular Board Meeting were set.  Moved by V Pogue, second by D Yelk to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
