Call to Order. Chairperson L Updike called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road. Supervisors V Pogue and D Yelk, Clerk J Ramsfield, Treasurer C Yelk, and Patrolman W Dorshorst were present.
Statement of Public Notice. The chair directed that the minutes show notice of the meeting was posted on the three town bulletin boards on February 10, 2012.
Pledge of Allegiance: J Ramsfield led the pledge.
Approve Minutes of Prior Meetings: Moved by V Pogue second by D Yelk to approve the minutes of the February 13, 2012 Town Board Meeting as presented.

Road Report:
Consider/Take Action re: Statz Farms, T Statz – installation of irrigation tubing under roads Twin Lane & Berlin: T Statz inquired as to what permits would be needed to install under the road irrigation tubing to their fields. He described the fields that the proposed irrigation tubing would go to and the installation process. After a short discussion the board instructed W Dorshorst to treat the proposed sites like a driveway permit; $50 permit fee with $1000 escrow. T Statz was asked to contact W Dorshorst when they know the exact site. W Dorshorst will give T Statz the specific measurements required by the town at that time. No action needed.
Consider/Take Action re: Amend 2012 Fire Department Budget: The City of Sun Prairie would like to undertake a pilot program of four full-time on-site fire fighters (day shift), the fire fighters would also do fire safety inspections as part of their job. The pilot program will be paid for with capital fund monies. There is no need to amend the Town of Sun Prairie 2012 budget at this time. No action taken.
Consider/Take Action re: Variance for property at 2898 Burke Rd, S Freitag; buildings exceed 10% of the lot area. Moved by D Yelk, second by V Pogue to support a variance for property at 2898 Burke Rd, S Freitag; buildings exceed 10% of the lot area.
