Plan Commission Agenda

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission will be held on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road to transact the following business:

  1.  Call to order.

  2. Statement of Public Notice.

  3. Approve minutes of the September 21, 2009 Plan Commission meeting and Joint meeting with the Town Board.

  4. Recess for comments from the public.

  5. Public Hearing:  Allow public comment on petition #10107 by Homburg Equipment, Inc, represented by Andrew Homburg, to rezone part of a 34.2 acre parcel currently zoned A-2(8) Agricultural and A-1(Ex) Agricultural to a 1.1 acre R-3A Residential parcel for an existing home; a 4.19 acre A-2(4) Agricultural parcel; and an 11.81 acre C-2 Commercial parcel to bring zoning into compliance with the Dane County Zoning Ordinance at 4253 CTH TT in Section 31, Town of Sun Prairie.

  6. Consider and take action on the Homburg petition.

  7. Consider and take action on a preliminary plan (Petition #10119) by Dennis Midthun, represented by Birrenkott Surveying, to rezone 6.642 acres from A-1 (EX) Agricultural to C-2 Commercial to allow construction of a combined warehouse, small contractor’s offices and sales/repair shops for small businesses and 7.0 acres from A-1(EX) Agricultural to A-4 Agricultural to comply with zoning on the remaining lands at 4100 CTH TT in Section 31, Town of Sun Prairie.

  8. Consider and take action on a preliminary plan by Thomas Viken to rezone approximately 20 acres from A-1(EX) Agricultural to RH-4 Rural Homes for residential use within the next 2 years north of 4991 Pierceville Road in Section 26, Town of Sun Prairie.

  9. Next regular meeting date, November 16, 2009.

  10. Adjournment.
