Call to Order.
The regular meeting of the Town of Sun Prairie Plan Commission was
called to order at 7:00 p.m. The following were present: Chairman
Roger
Fetterly, Doug Yelk, Alan Meyer, Judy Stang, John Quimby and Kerman
Crothers. Absent-excused: Dot Havens. Also present was Claudia
Quick, Town
Clerk,
Public Notice.
Notice of the meeting was mailed to Plan Commission members
and posted on the three Town bulletin boards on June 10.
Approval of the Minutes.
Minutes of the May 19th meeting were approved as issued.
Public Comment.
There was no comment from the public.
Public Hearing on Petition #9903 by Jay Freitag.
Applicant proposing to rezone
13.8 acres of a 79.6 acre farm from A-1(EX) Agricultural to A-2
Agricultural to
separate the farm buildings from the remainder of the farm to allow
the sale of the
remaining 65.4 acre farm at 3205 Bailey Rd, There was no comment
from the
public.
Consider and Take Action of the Freitag Petition.
Member Yelk made a motion
to approve and Member Stang seconded. Motion carried.
Public hearing on Petition #9921 by Duane Riley.
Applicant proposing to split
off a 0.7782 acre lot from an existing 1.733 acre lot currently
zoned R-1A
Residential and rezone the new lot to
R-1
to allow the owner to build a new home
at 2877 Bailey
Rd.
There was no comment from the public.
Consider and Take Action on the Riley Petition.
The Plan Commission expressed
that they would like to see one of the two drives closed and only
one used a
shared drive, Member Stang made a motion to approve and Member
Quimby
seconded. Motion carried.
Public Hearing on petition #9927 by Tony Krebs.
Applicant proposing to rezone
0.2354 acres from R-lA Residential to RH-1 Rural Homes and 0.1305
acres from
RH-1
Rural
Homes to R•1A Residential to adjust lot lines to benefit existing
homeowners at 1965 Yelk Rd. There were no comments from the public.
Consider and Take Anti n on the Krebs Petition.
Chairman Fetterly made a
motion to approve and Member Yelk seconded. Motion carried.
Consider and Take Action on a Preliminary Plan by Greg Altman.
Applicant
proposing to rezone 14.7 acres from RH-3 Rural Homes to A-2
Agricultural and
request a Conditional Use Permit to allow the operation of a dog
kennel at 2771
County Hwy T. Member Stang made a motion to approve with ‘o, t and
u’ as
respective conditions and lit signage from 6am to 6pm. Member Quimby
seconded. Motion carried.
Set Next Regular Meeting Date.
The next regular meeting date for the Town of Sun Prairie Plan
Commission is scheduled for July 21st at 7pm,
Adjournment.
