Call to Order
Chairperson L Updike called the regular semi-monthly meeting to order at
7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 5556 Twin Lane Road. Supervisors V Pogue
and D Yelk, Treasurer C Yelk and Clerk C Quick were present. Others
present were H Homburg and C Homburg.
Statement of Public
Notice The
chair directed that the minutes show notice of the meeting was published
in the October 22, 2009 issue of The Star. Copies were posted on the
three town bulletin boards on October 23, 2009.

September 28, 2009 Town Board Meeting.

Allow Public Comment
– Consider and Take Action on Zoning Petition #10107 Homburg Equipment,
Inc zoning change from A-2 to C-2, R-3A and a portion will remain A-2,
section 31.
This property was a
dog kennel for many years. C Homburg explained they purchased this
property as it adjoins their home farm. They do not wish to be in the
kennel business, therefore are looking for options for the property. He
explained that the zoning changes they are requesting will allow them
flexibility as they look for renters. Moved by D Yelk, second by V.
Pogue, to grant the requested zoning changes with deed restrictions in
the C-2 area. Deed restriction limiting use(s) in the C-2 zoning
district to only the following: C-2 zoning district (1)(b)(f)(q)(s)(t)
and (u). In the C-1 zoning district (1)(a)(c)(d)(e)(j)(k)(l)(o)(r) and
(t). In the LC-1 zoning district limited to: (1)(a)(b)(c)(d)(e)(f) and
(g). Additionally other conditions include 1. Hours of Operation 6:00
a.m. to 9:00 p.m., unlimited for snowplowing. 2. No new exterior
lighted signage, without Town approval. 3. Record a two acre
conservation easement under Town of Sun Prairie Conservation Easement
Ordinance.

Discussion and Consider Action re: Delinquent Personal Property Taxes
Treasurer C Yelk, explained that she has tried to collect the personal
property taxes by doing phone call, letters and certified mail. With no
results. Following discussion it was the consensus of the board that
she contact the town’s attorney for advice.
Audit and Pay Bills.
The Board reviewed the invoices for the second half of October. Moved
by D Yelk, second by V Pogue to pay the bills with the addition of the
tree removal bill submitted by Loewen.
